'Why I Love Plastic Wall Paneling' is not as you might first expect the title of a song, but simply the title of this article in which I'm going to share the many reasons why I do indeed love plastic wall paneling.
As strange as it may seem, plastic wall paneling is one of those things, like the lowly door handle, that many people are sub-consciously grateful for on a daily basis - yet, wall protector panels don't really get a great deal of press. However, did you know that wall panels are used in so many areas of business and government that it's easy to take it for granted. You could almost guarantee that we've all benefited from wall panels made from plastic at some point in our lives - of that you can be quite sure.

I love them so much, not just because they are unsung heroes and I always root for the underdog, but also because there are numerous applications for their use. These include areas in the public sector such as the NHS (what self-respecting hospital porter hasn't been grateful for plastic wall paneling when moving a patient on a hospital trolley). The private sector also reaps rewards from this great protection product- take the leisure industry for example. The leisure industry is a high energy environment where wall damage and the resulting cost frequently needs protecting against.
In education too, schools are beginning to learn the value of plastic wall paneling and the benefits of using decorative, image based panels to not only protect their walls and their building's fabric - but also to brighten-up the school atmosphere and create interest for its school children.
Health, education and the private sector all use plastic wall paneling for their building protection requirements, whilst at the same time, saving them money and creating longer lasting investments in their businesses or organisations.
I love plastic paneling for walls because, just like the Zippo lighter or the traditional Lancashire potato peeler, it's another example of something that's functional, simple and yet can be used to dramatic effect when combined with imagery and design - well, OK, perhaps not the Lancashire peeler - but you can see my point.
